Donna has been a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1991.  She is a life-long resident of Las Vegas, married, husband Jon, with two daughters, Cristina 19, Kaitlin 18 and 2 cats and a dog!  She has served on the council at CLC and has been involved in various other aspects.  Donna is a part-time college student, who is leaning towards a social work degree, but still not sure what she wants to be when she grows up…

 Hello, my name is Jenny; I am the Director of Christ Lutheran Children's Center. I have a long history of working with children, developing curriculums and child development (not to mention raising two of my own children). I hold a Child Development Associate Credential in both Center Preschool and Infant Toddler and a long resume of early childhood development coursework. I also bring to Christ Lutheran a strong background in technology; I create and maintain our Center's web site, provide photographic and video services, as well as develop and create the electronic forms. John A Smith,

Choir Director

A 23-year resident of Las Vegas, John has been directing church, semi-professional and professional choirs since the age of 16, and has served as a vocal and choral clinician and adjudicator in nearly 20 states. While serving as Assistant Dean at The University of Michigan School of Music he founded that institution’s vocal jazz and show choir, aMazin’ Blues, performing throughout the United States, including appearances at the Hollywood Palladium, The Kennedy Center, on national television and twice at The White House for President Gerald Ford.  Mr. Smith has performed and recorded with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and locally has been a frequent soloist with the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. He earned his B.S. at Hartwick College and an M.S. at Syracuse University. In addition to his service here at CLC, John also currently serves as the Adult Choir Director at Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson and is the soloist for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in downtown Las Vegas.
